Hi.  My name is Glenn Gross.
I was born and grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in America.

I graduated from Cornell University, an Ivy League School, in 1996 with a degree in Business Management and Marketing.

Soon after graduation, I came to Japan on the JET PROGRAM and taught English in elementary schools, junior high schools, and  high schools in Nara for three years.  In total, I have been an English conversation teacher for about 10 years.

At EZ ENGLISH (HONMACHI) I make customized lessons for every student.  Adults and children of any age are all welcome!!!

If you are interested in studying business english, beginner english, TOEIC/TOEFL english, daily conversation english, travel english, etc.,  I can help you attain your goals!

I feel that confidence is the key to learning a foreign language.  Don`t be shy, just SPEAK the best that you can.  And don`t be afraid to make mistakes!!!  The more mistakes you make, the faster your english will improve!!!  Have fun and relax!!!

In addition,  I am a professional Shiatsu therapist and also have a black belt in Aikido.

I can speak and read/write japanese and this enables me to teach beginner students efficiently as well as teach advanced students certain invaluable subtleties of the english language.

Personally, I love sports and was captain of my baseball and soccer teams until college.  Six years ago, I also ran the Fukuchiyama full marathon.  It was a wonderful experience.

個人的に私自身スポーツが好きで、大学まで野球とサッカーのキャプテンをしていました。6年前、福知山フルマラソンにも参加しました。それは素晴らしい経験でした。
